The restaurant had large windows which must have let in a good deal of light during the daytime, but even now in the night Maria begin to feel happier from the sunny yellow colour it was painted. The Wise Woman sat down at a round table in the corner of the room, and motioned for Maria to sit next to her.
"This place is run by an order of cooks," explained the Wise Woman. "Their name is the Sisters of Martha. It's like an order of knights, except that they make dinners, rather than fight dragons."
